The people behind NexusSec

A small engineering team in Navi Mumbai that designs networks, breaks into them on purpose, and keeps them running. Every engagement runs under one named line of technical accountability — you always know who set the standard and who answers for the findings.

Leadership

Technical leadership you can name.

NexusSec was founded on a single principle: security is not a feature, it is architecture. The people who set that standard still scope every engagement.

ST

S. Sridhar Thewar

CEO & Founder · Network Architect · Penetration Tester

Sridhar founded NexusSec after four years working hands-on in network architecture and offensive security, to close the gap between theoretical compliance and genuinely practical security engineering.

His approach is shaped by offensive experience — designing defences from the perspective of someone who has spent years finding ways through them. That informs how NexusSec scopes engagements: reconnaissance first, architecture second, and validation by testing rather than assumption.

AG

Aaryan Gupta

Chief Sales Officer

As Chief Sales Officer, Aaryan owns how NexusSec grows — the client relationships, the commercial side of every engagement, and the vendor partnerships behind the equipment we deploy.

He is usually the first conversation a client has with NexusSec: understanding what is actually needed before an engineer scopes it, and making sure what is sold is exactly what gets delivered.

The engineering team

Four disciplines, one team.

Small enough that the person who designed your network is the person who tests it. These are the disciplines the team covers on every engagement.

NA

Network architecture

Segmentation, routing and resilience — the structure everything else sits on. VLAN and zero-trust design, SD-WAN, datacentre and branch builds.

VA

Offensive security & VAPT

Finds the way in first — network, web application and wireless testing — and writes findings your engineers can act on, not a scanner export.

FW

Firewall & edge engineering

Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, MikroTik and pfSense. Rule reviews, migrations, high availability and the renewals nobody wants to think about.

MS

Managed security & response

Monitoring, patch cadence and a 24-hour response commitment for businesses that run a real network without a full-time security team.

+3

Meet the rest of the team

Individual engineer profiles are being added to this page. Until then, every engagement is still scoped and signed off by the founder above — the accountability does not change, only the number of names you can see.

How the team works

Operating principles that shape every engagement.

01

Reconnaissance first

We look at your estate the way an attacker would before we propose anything. Architecture recommendations come from what we found, not from a template.

02

Validate by testing

A control that has not been tested is an assumption. Every design we deliver gets attacked by the same team before it is signed off.

03

One accountable name

You will know who set the standard, who is answerable for the findings, and who to call when something needs a decision. Never a ticket queue.

04

Real hardware, real labs

The team practises on the same appliances we deploy — racked in Navi Mumbai and run as NexusSec vLabs, our own training platform.

Join the team

Engineers who would rather fix the network than write about it.

We hire for hands-on ability over certificates, and we will happily put you through our own labs to prove it. If you have run a firewall in anger, broken into something you were allowed to, or designed a network that survived a bad day, we want to talk.
